COLOUR BLIND

​I really like the take Diplo has put on the chorus and how he has managed to combine two genres that don’t usually collaborate. I like the overall vibe of the track and the lyrics, it’s a really catchy song. It’s really cool when people aren’t afraid to try something new and I think this will be quite a unique track for this year.

WHATS SO NOT

​This single is hard core and a really fresh track. It’s such a cool collaboration that I have been waiting for so was really happy to see it. I always love hearing new music by these artists. I listen to it all the time. The minimal but powerful vocals really fill the song out. I like how it combines big chords with hard dubstep sounds.

OLIVER TREE

​I think this is a really unusual song that sounds old school but new at the same time. Oliver Tree is a very quirky guy, it’s hard to find unique artists nowadays, it’s like you have to look and be a certain way to be noticed. But he doesn’t seem to care what people think and just does his own thing, so I think that’s really cool. He has a really unusual voice and style that reminds me of the band Ween who I really like too.

MAGENTA RIDDIM

​I really like the middle eastern vibe this track has. It’s a really fun one to include in my sets as people really like to dance to it. I’m really enjoying the new music that DJ Snake is putting out lately and this one is one of my favourites. I like what he’s done to the vocal and how he’s chopped it up throughout the whole track and the off beat percussion makes the song feel very bouncy.
