Slaughterhouse

Hailing from Adelaide, garage-core outfit Siamese drop their latest single.

Siamese - Slaughterhouse

Adelaide locals SIAMESE are today thrilled to reveal their fuzz-infused, punchy new track ‘Slaughterhouse’. The brand new single follows last year’s releases ‘Computer Patient’ and ‘Scatterbrain’.

‘Slaughterhouse’ sees Siamese expand into new territory, both sonically and lyrically. This new single takes the traditional idea of a love story and turns it on its head, touching on the ideas of technology, waste and ever-fading attention spans, whilst filtering it through a wave of fuzz and snarling vocals.

After making waves with their dual debut singles ‘Computer Patient’ and ‘Scatterbrain’, Adelaide’s most exciting young bloods, Siamese, are primed to build on this strong introduction with ‘Slaughterhouse’. Honing a unique, yet evocative sound, reminiscent of 90’s pioneers HUM, Failure and Unwound, Siamese summon the spirit of alternative rock and shoe gaze, whilst breaking new ground and embedding themselves firmly in the present. Within the short space of a year, Siamese have caused a stir both locally and nationally, through a strong commitment to a chaotic, yet commanding live shows and the strength of their song writing at such a young age.

During this time, Siamese have already supported the likes of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Pond, Ceres and Flyying Colours, even touring nationally with Poison City Records’ Horror My Friend. 2017 saw Siamese appear at nationally renowned festivals; Poison City Weekender Festival, A Day of Clarity, Against the Grain, Swirl Fest and more. Off the back of just the aforementioned singles, Siamese have received strong radio support from the likes of Triple J, Unearthed, Triple R, 4ZZZ, Three D Radio and Radio Adelaide, whilst securing the coveted spot of artist spotlight on Triple J Unearthed.
